RECAP - Grand Opening of the UofA Canadian Centre for Welding & Joining

During the dinner meeting Dr. Patricio Mendez gave a presentation on the newly opened Canadian Centre of Welding and Joining at the University of Alberta.  Following the presentation, both Dr. Patricio Mendez and Dr. Adrian Gerlich gave tours of their new welding lab.  The event was held at the University of Alberta Engineering Teaching and Learning Centre (ETLC)  Solarium, and had a very strong attendance of roughly 70 people.  Photos from the event will be uploaded shortly.
