Dec ‘09 Meeting - V & S Galvanizing Plant tour

Plant tour
The V & S Group started in 1956 by Robert Voigt and Harold Schweitzer. The mission of these two great men, who trusted each other, was “work hard, save a penny and serve customers with quality work and reliability.”

Voigt & Schweitzer has been involved in many projects – large and small where hot dip galvanizing was the corrosion protection method of choice. They have galvanized steel for major highways, proffesional sports stadiums, ( Gillette Stadium in Foxboro) bridges, architectural buildings, railings, fasteners and the like. Over the past couple of decades V& S has also been part of many projects where timing, delivery, labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation were more important than the actual act of protecting steel from corrosion.

The V & S Galvanizing facility in Taunton, Massachusetts is the only fully operational COLORZINQ facility in New England. This plant produces a perfect blend of quality Hot Dip Galvanizing with a professional paint system, on site company owned trucking and packaging.

Come join us for the plant tour. Dinner will be at a nearby Chateau restaurant. Contact Tom Ferri at 508-527-1884 or e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
