To do this, multiple types of welds are reeled on a drum hundreds of times for transport between wells before retirement.  This presentation will include an overview of coiled tubing usage and manufacturing, the specific welding processes used, the QC employed to assure integrity, and some engineering background on the fatigue of these weldments to prevent premature failure.
