Welding Thunder 2016

#ThisIsMyWeld Contest for National Welding Month

AWS followers can upload pictures directly to the contest page through Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter using the hashtag #ThisIsMyWeld and tagging AWS. Followers of all three channels can then vote on their favorite photo. The contest page will aggregate all the photos and use a voting system. The top three voted photos at the end of the month will win a prize. First place: Lincoln Helmet, 2nd place: Welding Handbook, 3rd place: Metallurgy Book from the AWS bookstore. Welder Training Scholarships (US & Canada)

Welder Training Scholarships are available to AWS Districts to provide funds to students seeking welder training through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training programs, such as Tulsa Welding School and Hobart Institute of Welding Technology; or for an AWS Certified Welder (CW) seminar.
