Philadelphia Section Scholarship

The Philadelphia Section of the American Welding Society is happy to announce that it will present a $7,500 scholarship award to a student or students who enrolled in an accredited college, university, technical college or trade school. These applicants must actively pursuing a degree in either Weld engineering, Welding technology, metallurgy, or a trade program designed specifically to develop welding skills directly related to the field of welding. The purpose of this scholarship which is presented by the Philadelphia Section of the American Welding Society is to promote the welding industry and welding education and will be awarded for use by the students or adult individual for their tuition and paid directly to the accredited and approved educational institution in which the student is presently enrolled.
