The AWS Rochester Section hosted another successful meeting to start off the new year!

Our November 2015 meeting was a huge success! Special thanks to guest speaker Jim Brognano and all those who attended the meeting. Our NEXT MEETING will take place January 12th, 2016 at 5:30pm at 260 Middle Road, Henrietta, NY.

Welder Training Scholarships (US & Canada)
Welder Training Scholarships are available to AWS Districts to provide funds to students seeking welder training through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training programs, such as Tulsa Welding School and Hobart Institute of Welding Technology; or for an AWS Certified Welder (CW) seminar.

Excellence in Welding Awards

The Excellence in Welding Awards (formerly Image of Welding Awards) are issued in nine categories. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that have shown exemplary dedication to promoting the image of welding in their communities. Nominations will be judged by WEMCO, a standing committee of AWS, which is composed of executives of welding industry suppliers to promote the welding equipment market.
